St Mary's Church - Alive and Active in the Community

Hold your event in the heart of the community in this exceptional and historically significant church. We offer an inspiring and original space for a wide variety of events; for just an hour, an entire day or for an evening...

St Mary's Hadleigh is not only a place of worship, but also offers a unique venue for a wide range of events - concerts, conferences, exhibitions, plays, meetings, receptions - in historic and beautiful surroundings.

The life of the church is busy and varied, and there are a number of special events that take place in the church building throughout the year. We are always ready to consider your future events.

We are located in the centre of the thriving market town of Hadleigh, ten miles from both Ipswich and Colchester, close to the A12. While parking in the churchyard is extremely limited (and is by permit only), Hadleigh has ample parking in public car parks.

If you would like to talk about holding an event in the church, please contact Deanery Office.
