Wedding Booking
Wedding Date: In any of the three churches listed, please contact, in the first instance, our Benefice Administrator, Claire Woods, who will check that the chosen date for your wedding is available. You will then need to make an appointment with them to complete/check your wedding application form. Thereafter, your first contact will be our Administrator, who will be happy to answer questions or help with general wedding enquiries.
Forms: Click here to download the booking form. Complete as much as possible and bring this with you when you meet with the Priest. Alternatively, the form can be completed online and be sent to the Priest by email prior to your meeting. Please note, submission of the form on its own does not constitute a booking. In accordance with the Marriage Law, effective from 2 March 2015, all couples must provide specified evidence that both of them are EEA nationals. It is therefore suggested that you bring your passport to the first meeting.
Fees: to find out how much things will cost see Benefice Fees in General Information.
Eligibility: Click here for more information about the legal considerations.
Banns: If you both live in and are marrying in the Hadleigh Benefice, we will automatically arrange for your Banns to be called.
However, if you are marrying in any other church but live in the Benefice, please contact the Benefice Administrator, who will be pleased to arrange this for you. (Please note, banns need to be read in the church in which you are marrying and the churches in the parishes in which you both live.)
